Based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire Electron is ideally situated to cover the whole of the UK. With a network of more than 40 nationally based engineers we can support projects anywhere in the country and even abroad.

Since 1988 Electron has been responsible for delivering cabling projects throughout the UK, from Cornwall to Norfolk, Hampshire to the Highlands of Scotland. We regularly work in London and the South East but have no problems installing solutions in Wales or the North West. We have even carried out projects overseas, as far a field as Japan, Hong Kong and Eastern Europe. In fact, Electron was the first UK based installation company to carry out a structured cabling installation in Tokyo back in the mid 1990's.

Our regionally based engineers can provide a rapid response for new installations or emergency call outs, minimising your down time and maximising our level of service. Our design engineers and project managers are centrally located at our prestigious head offices near Nottingham, from where they can easily reach any part of the country to carry out site surveys, oversee installations or participate in site meetings.

Electron places a great deal of emphasis on the quality of personnel employed by the company. Our design engineers are BICSI trained, three of them having gained the BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) qualification, a globally recognised and respected certificate. The project managers are Prince 2 trained, ensuring that the best project planning and delivery practices are used. We have a BICSI LAN Specialist, trained to consult on and design complete LAN solutions, including all of the active networking equipment. All of Electron's installation engineers are BICSI or City & Guilds qualified
