After a 12 month installation period Simon Rhodes (Electron Project Manager) is shown handing the Brand Rex 25 year Performance Warranty to Aston University’s Dennis Mottram.The highly successful project with a value in excess of £1 million encompassed infrastructure cabling to over 6,100 Category 6 LSOH outlets along with 24 km’s of OM 3/OS 1 fibre connecting between 55 wiring centres.The majority of the works were carried out by Electron ‘outside of normal working hours’.At its peak Electron had over 30 staff on site.Aston University are now utilising their new state of the art infrastructure for Voice, Data and Video services across their large campus.
